Objectives:

After completing this module students will be able to define an inertial frame and describe the state of motion of an object in different reference frames.  Students will be able to find the acceleration of an object in terms of the resultant forces and the object's mass.  They will be able to distinguish between the mass of an object and its weight.  Students will be able to analyze various situations in terms of the law of action and reaction.
