After completing this module students will be familiar with the definition of the electrostatic potential and will be able to calculate the potential difference between two points in space for various charge distributions. Students will be able to obtain the electric field when given the potential. They will be able to list the properties of conductors in static situations. Students will be able to find the capacitance of capacitors in series and in parallel. Students will have been introduced to various electrostatic devices
