Module 8

Objectives:

After completing this module, students will be able to determine the angular velocity and angular acceleration and kinetic energy of rotating objects. They will able to use the relationship between torque and angular acceleration to solve problems involving rotational motion.  Students will be able to determine if an object is in static equilibrium.  Students will know when angular momentum is conserved and use conservation of angular momentum to solve physics problems.  Students will analyze orbital motion using Kepler's laws.
